Samar Yazbek’s “In her mirrors” acquired by Italian house Castelvecchi
Samar Yazbek, Syrian author of “Cinnamon” and “Clay” has recently published a novel in Beirut, “In her mirrors”. The novel is set in contemporary Syria, and details the Alaouite community’s relation to power and to religion.
Castelvecchi, Italian publisher of “Cinnamon”, has just acquired the rights to “In her mirrors”.
